‘‘Science and medicine advancements have been making the process of healing simpler and faster. Yet, there are many everyday health problems and even some dreadful chronic illnesses which in the acute stage cannot be guaranteed of cure. Modern Allopathic medicines and surgical process have several side effects. Even a  minor surgery of gall bladder stone removal often leads to hernia. Here crystal healing, the process of healing through crystals comes into picture,’’ says Jaydeep Verma of the GMCKS Pranic Healing Association of Orissa, Bhubaneswar. Crystals can increase the potency of healing by 200 times or more if used properly. Infact every crystal has a consciousness of its own and when directed to the right chakra it can create healing miracles,’’ adds Jaydeep.

According to the process, the body is classified into few departments each of which handles specific functions through the chakras or energy spots located throughout the body. Different coloured stones or crystals are arranged on the patient’s body by the practitioner to match the vibration of the chakra with the stone.

The process is also believed to be a form of psychic surgery. The practitioner sometimes uses a laser quartz or crystal wand to cure the illness wherein the negative energy that is accumulated around a certain chakra is removed effectively.

In order to find out a patient’s condition, Jaydeep holds a crystal in front of the patient and use it as a form of psychic x-ray.

Through it, he is able to see spots inside the patient’s body.

If the spots are bright, it is not so serious and can be cured by channelizing positive energy into the body using the crystal. This is bloodless. The healer works on the etheric body (the aura). He does not penetrate the skin or the bones and does not remove physical matters from within the body.

If the spots are dark, then the disease is serious (location and number of tumors are shown to him) and it requires psychic surgery ,where the Healer enters a person’s body using his / her bare hands and manually removes diseased or dead tissues, tumours, energy blockages, calcium deposits and other matters that should not be there. This is done without inflicting any pain, coming out without leaving any visible marks or scars.

Jaydeep Verma claims that he is an expert in both kind of healing and can heal people without any side effects, even diseases which  cannot be cured by modern Allopathic medicines.

The healing is more efficient when the patient has faith in the system,’’ Jaydeep adds. “To try out for yourself you may visit any of the pranic healing and psychic surgery camps held by the association round the year in different parts of India and also abroad.”

One such camp was help from 3rd June to 5th June in Pratapnagar, Cuttack, Odisha.

Debashis Rationalist rubbishes any supernatural phenomenon and offers 25 lacs to anyone who can prove anything supernatural.

Debashis rationalist on behalf of RHFI decided to attend that camp.He went there in disguise of a journalist. Though Mr Jaydeep Verma does not appreciates journalists attending his camps for reasons very genuine, Mr Verma was very impressed with Debashis’s timid, scary and benign appearance with his hands full of stones and gems symbolising his devotion towards God, astrology and supernatural. Debashis falsely informed Mr Verma that he has an enlarged liver which he wanted to be treated. Any medical practitioner would detect an enlarged liver condition just by pressing the surrounding area. But Verma could not for essential reasons. So, he offered Debashis to go for a crystal therapy first and if it does not work he would go for physic surgery which he had assured a definite remedy. He also told that his charge was Rs 5,000 per sitting for the first option and Rs 10,000 for the second one.On the very next day, Debashis was given an appointment. In the morning of 5th June, Debashis went to Pratapgarh Police Station to file a complain. But the PS told him that it was under the Naxipara PS and suggested him to file the complain there. When Debashis went to Naxipara PS, they refused to take the complain either and informed him that the area is under Pratapgarh PS. Understanding the situation, Debashis made a series of ph call and spoke with Mr Rajendra Prasad Sharma (DG, Vigilance, Odisha) and Yogesh Bahadur Khurania (Police Commissioner, Twin City). After there intervention, Pratapgarh Police Station accepted the complain and extended their valuable co-operation. An SI was appointed as investigating officer. The SI along two Constables (all in plain dresses) accompanied Debashis and headed towards Verma’s camp, The clock was showing 11 A.M of 5th June. Debashis, along with his companions stepped into the crowded hall where the patients were waiting and  Verma was operating a patient behind a curtain. Debashis promptly lifted the screen claiming Verma a fraudulent straight way. He also announced that he could show the trickery in front of everybody. Surely, the imposter was not easily to give up but after a bit of scuffling with Debashis he surrendered. Verma was charged under Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, Cheating under IPC 1860 section 415 and 416, and making false document under section 464.

Initially, police was disinclined to file any charge against him due to Verma’s strong foothold locally. But later the local PS were extremely cooperative. The reason behind might have been the intervention of two prominent IPSs and Debashis Rationalist’s wide media connections and reputations at an international level.

Debashis currently offers INरू25 lacs “to anyone who claims to possess supernatural power of any kind and proves the same without restoring to any trick in the location specified by him.
