The Government of India now set out to massacare its own people for the well-being of their Plutocrats.
The Indian states of Chattisgarh, Jharkand, West Bengal, Orrisa and Andhara Pradesh are the heart of India’s Mineral Wealth.
By the Capitalist friendly policies of the Indian Government the international Mining Giants like Mittal, Vedanta, Tata, Essar, Jindal, Posco are itching to tear up these lands to get their hands on the riches like coal, Bauxite and Iron that lies under them.
The corrupted plutocrats occupying the seat of Government sets the royalty amount to be Rs. 27 (INR) for every 1000kgs( 1 ton) of Raw Iron Ore Mined by these corporates but the Market Value for the same Unrefined Raw Iron Ore is Rs.10,000(INR).
In some cases like Orrisa the state Government is not even ready to get that 27 rupees as Royalty. More than 14 Mines are operated even today by those corporates even after the expiry of their agreement period i.e. without paying the Royalty.
From the beginning the Tribal Adivasi people in these states remains an Head ache for the Corporates and their friendly Government .Tribal People Fighting for their Habitat hinders the establishment of the Corporate Mining Industries there by preserving the Mineral wealth of India.
To bring an end to this, the Pro-capitalist Congress Government in India put forth an Major military assault (OPERATION GREEN HUNT) in the Late 2009 to completely wipeout these poor people from their Livelihood under the pretext of Fighting Maoist Insurgents fighting for the same cause.
As a result of this operation around 644 Villages are evacuated in the state of Chattisgarh alone.Thousands of villagers were murdered and numerous women raped. Thousands were arbitrarily arrested and left rotting in jail. Over 3,50,000 people were displaced.
At this Situation Unable to attain an full scale victory by the military operations against the Leftist insurgents the government now enters into a phase of psychological Warfare:
On May 28,2010 Gyaneshwari express train from Howrah to Kurla(Maharastra) was derailed at saridha in the west midnapore district of West Bengal claiming 148 innocent lives.
It is believed that in order ruin the good name of Leftist insurgents over the recent past the Government has now entered in to a phase of Psychological Warfare like the US Government which is excellent in this
type of warfare in order to serve their imperialist bosses.
The Government authorities firmly pointed out a pro maoist group People’s Committee against Police Atrocities(PCPA) was responsible for the train derailment which took the lives of 148 people.
On May 30,2010 Mr Asit Mahato, the convener of PCPA strictly refused their hands behind the train derailment. More over he added “We strongly condemn such acts which take lives of common, innocent men
and we express deep shock and mourn for the victims”
some of the political watchdogs believe The derailment of Howrah – Kurla jnaneshwari express on 28 May 2010, claiming the Lives of 148 innocents seems to be just one of this psychological warfare and still more to come.
Who is Benefited from this Tragedy:
The corporate owners are the ones who are going to be benefited by this tragedy. pointing out this attack the government is all set to use its army and airforce for the complete wipe out of tribal People in these region.
Left Front in West Bengal gets some advantage as TMC chief Mamata Banerjee’s position weakens due to the tragic incident, not to forget the upcoming municipal corporation election in West Bengal.
Also the act of government is going to quicken the process of establishing the Mining Projects of the corporates thus more and more Miseries for the Tribal People awaiting to come.
